Globe’s MST^© line of modular shielding tunnels can easily be added to most EDS or X-Ray systems to meet your specific baggage or package screening requirement. We've designed the tunnel to sit conveniently on top of existing conveyor systems to reduce installation or retrofit costs. 

Each modular tunnel comes in either 762 mm (30”) or 1000 mm (39.4”) lengths and can be configured to house up to 3 sets of Globe’s low-friction HGC curtains. The tunnel opening is 940 mm (37”) wide and 787 mm (31”) tall.

• Stainless Steel Construction – won’t rust when used in locations that are not humidity controlled. Other exterior finishes to match EDS units are also available.
  
  
• Optional mounting flanges can be provided to interface a Tunnel Extension Module to the OEM X-Ray System.
  
  
• Modular design allows tunnel extension modules to be bolted together to achieve any desired length.
  
  
• Each tunnel is supplied with Globe’s low-friction, lead-free HGC curtains that are available in 0.25 mm, 0.40 mm or 0.50 mm lead equivalencies.
  
  
•  Tunnel extension modules are available with/without doors, one side or both.
  
  
• Tunnel extension module is available with/without Interior Low Voltage (24VDC) LED Lighting Bar with switch control.

Full End-to-End Design Services
We will send design engineers to customer sites to assess critical operating requirements, environmental considerations and installation configurations to determine optimal tunnel extension design.

We can fabricate tunnel extensions at our US manufacturing facility or we can oversee the fabrication of these tunnels within close proximity to the installation site.

Alternatively, we can provide fabrication drawings and bill-of-material (BOM) information necessary for integrators or installers to fabricate the tunnels.

We can coordinate with conveyor manufacturers, integrators, or installers to oversee the installation, testing and certification of the tunnel extensions. We can have one of our engineers travel to the customer site to oversee the installation and testing of the tunnel extensions as well.
