Boston, MA, Feb 21, 2024 – Globe Composite Solutions, a subsidiary of ESCO Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ESE) today announced that it has been awarded Silver for the Southeast region, in the 2024 Team Massachusetts Economic Impact Awards, MassEcon’s 20th annual celebration of organizations for their outstanding contributions to the Massachusetts economy.

MassEcon selected the finalists based on their job growth, facility expansion, investment, ED&I practices, and community involvement. The finalists collectively have added nearly 9,000 jobs to the Commonwealth, invested more than $1.1 billion, and expanded their facilities by more than 1 million square feet.

Globe was joined by CMT Materials, and Engineered Syntactic Systems,  as well as many distinguished guests for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new building.

Globe Composite Solutions LLC Announces Acquisition of CMT Materials and Engineered Syntactic Systems, leading providers of buoyancy systems for UUVs and Specialty Chemical Products

Boston, MA, Feb 10, 2023 – Globe Composite Solutions, a subsidiary of ESCO Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ESE) today announced that on February 1, 2023, the company acquired CMT Materials, LLC and its affiliate Engineered Syntactic Systems, LLC (CMT). CMT, based in Attleboro, Massachusetts, is a leading supplier of syntactic materials for buoyancy and specialty applications. They are experts in designing and manufacturing custom syntactic foam components and systems, which are utilized in industrial, oceanographic, military, and naval applications. CMT brings proprietary technology and capabilities to Globe’s A&D business and will strengthen the company’s offerings on underwater platforms for the Navy.

Globe Composite Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ESCO Technologies (NYSE: ESE), and its affiliates PTI Technologies, Crissair, VACCO Industries, Westland Technologies, Mayday Manufacturing, and Hi-Tech Metal Finishing, have announced that they will be exhibiting at the Farnborough International Airshow in England, from 18 to 22 July 2022. They will be located in Hall 3, #3331 presented as ESCO Aerospace & Defense.

Globe Composite Solutions, a leading full-service provider of engineered composite products for defense and industrial applications, is pleased to announce the opening of its new Logistics and Fulfillment Center (LFC) in Avon MA.  This newly renovated 30,000 square foot facility will provide warehousing, staging, secondary assembly and just-in-time delivery support for its growing customer base.  

Globe Composite Solutions is pleased to announce the addition of RADM Michael Jabaley (USN retired) to our Board of Advisors. 

Jabaley was selected for flag rank in 2011. His flag assignments include Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) vice commander, command of Naval Undersea Warfare Center and NAVSEA deputy commander for Undersea Warfare. Jabaley was selected for his second star in March 2015 and relieved as program executive officer (PEO) Submarines in October 2015. His portfolio includes the Ohio Replacement SSBN and Virginia SSN programs, which are the 2nd and 3rd largest programs in the Department of Defense.  

The Globe Composite team was in Atlanta for MODEX 2018, held April 9-12, 2018 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. The MODEX 2018 Material Handling Expo provided attendees access to the latest manufacturing and supply chain equipment and technologies. The show featured over 900 exhibitors from industry, commerce and government, who displayed their supply chain solutions and innovations on the 280,000 square foot show floor.

Globe Composite Solutions is pleased to announce the addition of Rear Admiral David M. Duryea (USN retired) to our Board of Advisors.  A career submarine officer, Duryea possesses more than 30 years of executive leadership and management expertise. He commanded the nuclear-powered submarine USS Florida. As commander of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, he led 6,500 civilian personnel in 15 locations across the U.S. and overseas while overseeing a $1.6 billion budget. Duryea has been awarded the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and various other personal, unit and campaign level awards. He is a member of the Naval Submarine League and the Military Officers of America Association.
