(NYSE: ESE) today announced that on February 1, 2023, the company acquired [CMT Materials](https://cmt.globecomposite.com/), LLC and its affiliate [Engineered Syntactic Systems](https://ess.globecomposite.com/), LLC (CMT). CMT, based in Attleboro, Massachusetts, is a leading supplier of syntactic materials for buoyancy and specialty applications. They are experts in designing and manufacturing custom syntactic foam components and systems, which are utilized in industrial, oceanographic, military, and naval applications. CMT brings proprietary technology and capabilities to Globe’s A&D business and will strengthen the company’s offerings on underwater platforms for the Navy.
