GCS Awarded Patent for High-Gravity Radiation Shielding

By Globe Composite | Dec 6, 2013 3:00:00 PM

Brandonite® 4210 is a great low cost alternative to lead when used as a radiation shielding material and here at Globe we have just recenlty earned a patent for our innovative material.  It's generally available at lower costs when compared to other alternative high-gravity materials and may provide customers with numerous secondary benefits.  This material could be an effective hedge against recent lead and litharge price increases.  Additionally, Brandonite® 4210 is an excellent material for protecting customers against possible or future environmental concerns, such as the removal of lead or lead-encapsulated litharge.
