The Seawolf submarine provides the U.S. Navy with an undersea weapons platform that can operate in virtually any scenario against threat with a wide spectrum of mission capabilities including surveillance, intelligence collection, special warfare, cruise missile strike, mine warfare, and anti-submarine warfare. 

“Since 2004, Globe has been providing acoustic materials and components to General Dynamics Electric Boat and Northrop Grumman Newport News, the two prime contractors overseeing new submarine construction”, said Kevin J. Lynch, Globe’s program manager for Military and Defense products.  “This order is the largest single contract we have received directly from the U.S. Navy and further demonstrates our ability to respond to accelerated delivery schedules for these engineered composite components”, he added.
