Rockland MA, March 9, 2009 — Globe Composite Solutions, Ltd., one of the leading manufacturers of engineered composite products, announced today that Mr. Brian C. Evans has joined the company as Senior Design Engineer. In this newly created position, Mr. Evans will be responsible for working with sales and customer teams to design and produce prototype composite components, targeting Globe’s diverse customer base serving military/defense, material handling, marine, medical and oil field equipment industries. 

“Brian is an incredible addition to our engineering and design team and we are glad that he has rejoined Globe”, said Buddy Cummings, Engineering Manager at Globe. “His broad set of skills and unique perspectives on design, prototyping and manufacturing will allow Globe to remain at the forefront of providing cost-effective composite solutions to our customers”, he added.

Mr. Evans has over 30 years of engineering, design and manufacturing/automation experience in various industries including automotive, medical, consumer products, and materials handling.  Brian holds a bachelor’s of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts.  Before returning to Globe, Mr. Evans was a Program Manager for a New England-based injection molding company.  Mr. Evans, who will based out of Globe’s Rockland MA facility, previously worked for the Company from 2003 to 2007.  He and his family reside in Marshfield MA.
